I have a T410 with the 1280x800 display. I want to upgrade to the WXGA+ display for the better resolution. From what I've read my current display is LED so this should be a simple hardware swap. Is that the case or would I require something beyond the actual display panel?
Thanks!

check the hardware manual, but i think it is a simple process of changing out the LCD. But your warranty is voided if you do it, make sure you use anti static wrist strap as a minimum precaution against ESD damage. -
I believe I already have an LED display so there should be no need for any conversion - I am just trying to verify that. -
I have a T410 with a model number of T410 2516-A11. It currently has the LED back lit 1280x800 panel and I want to upgrade it to the WXGA+ panel for the better resolution. Is this a simple panel swap or are there any other parts I will need?
I asked this question in someone else's thread but didn't want to thread jack.
Thanks! -
my friend said it is a direct swap, but i haven't tried it, but i will have a look at the manual for you later.

The T410 only comes with LED-backlit displays, and therefore the only component that should need to be changed out is the panel itself - all other screen and bezel components should be the same.
