I just got my Y580 in and it has an Intel 2200 N wireless card. When I download stuff with it, it'll download at its max speed for a bit then pretty much stop downloading....this will repeat, over and over. The same happens when I browse. I've tried different drivers and haven't had any luck. I assume it's either a faulty device or my router is too far away. Moving my router isn't an option. My previous laptop can connect to the router and browse/download without a hiccup. I have extra wireless cards laying around, but when I put them in, I get some incompatibility error (I guess the BIOS checks the wireless card). I can't get into Windows. Any advice on using a different card?
