I am getting a T400 in a few days and was thinking of upgrading the hard drive
to a bigger size one, from 80GB to 320GB (7200 rpm). I will be getting Vista Business 64 with XP recovery disks. I want to keep the Vista Business 64 on the new hard drive.

How do I do a Clean Install on the new hard drive. I know I will need a external drive enclosure, probably by the SATA Bay Drive enclosure from Ebay. Anyhow, am I able to burn a clean image of Vista on a DVD from the extra partition that came with the 80GB hard drive?

Or should I clone the hard drives and then do the the clean install?
