I am completely lost. I "upgraded" my T61 from Vista Home Premium to XP 64 bit and now I cannot seem to find any working drivers. I am posting from my roommates laptop and his account. I have been downloading drivers from Lenovo and transferring them from a USB drive but I cannot get the internet driver working, which will allow me to find the rest on my own.

    Can anyone help me please...

Windows XP 64 bit is notorious for terrible driver support. You will probably be best off to either go back to Vista or XP 32bit.

If you want a 64bit OS use Vista 64bit.

I Upgraded mine from XP Pro 32bit to XP 64bit with the same problem. It amazes me that I talk to support and they tell me that there is no problem and that a laptop that supports 4gb of ram has nothing for 64bit. I am afraid all these people are right we have to use vista 64. This is absolutely crap seeing that this laptop has a quadro card and we want to use it for our applications not vista! What a crap ass OS.

Vista 64 will have more than the XP 64 on Lenovo, at least by clearing all the "unkown" devices in device manager.

If you have Vista Home Premium, you have access to both x86 and x64. All you need is the anytime upgrade DVD. If your intent on a 64-bit OS, Vista x64 will have much better support than XP 64.

Agreed with everyone here. Stick with Vista x64 bit. If you need XP, then install the 32 bit version.
