Hey everyone,
I haven't restarted my T61 in quite a while and when I did to install some Windows updates, something went wrong that I suspect to be a result of Diskeeper's Boottime defrag and I can no longer log into windows. BSOD says that something went south and Windows had to shut down to prevent further damage to the system. Here is the stop message that I am getting from the BSOD:
STOP: 0x00000026 [plus 4 more of these hexagonal coding in parenthesis
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc939490.aspx Is this relevant to Vista as well?
Could inserting the vista DVD repair the error? I really want my data back since I forgot to backup my entire semester's data.
Could it be a harddrive or motherboard failure? I doubt it b/c my laptop was fully diagnosed less than a month ago by a technician at a local depot. Something similar happened a month ago when I let Diskeeper to perform another Boot time defrag.
Thank you all in advance.

Maybe it might be this since I did experience this prob prior to the BSOD:

I'm curious about something. You haven't turned the machine on in a while and now you prioritize this as "urgent"?

Anyway, I did a clean install with the Vista media that I have in my possession and Windows saved a folder in which he put my old "Program Files" and all my user data, which means that I didn't lose any important data. I just have to reinstall everything again.
Urgent help needed...BSOD!!!
