    Hi

As title. San disk 3.0 extreme is not in start up list in bios. It does appear perfectly normally when windows starts, and shows as working correctly in Device Manager. Bios and drivers are up to date via system update.

In contrast, the San Disk does show up in bios of X230 (which of course has usb 3.0)

Usb 3.0 devices should be backwards compatible, so not sure why it's not showing up. Is there some kind of patch available for the x220?

Nb. the stick in question is set up for windows to go by following protocol and it's been made fully bootable (ie ALL)

    Additional info:

    1. A WD passport 3.0 external HDD does show up in bios start up list of the x220.

    2. The San Disk Extreme 3.0 is not in 'other' list at bottom of bios start up items either.

    3. When i made set up W8 pro (win2Go) on the the San Disk, I used bcdboot.exe in order to make the stick bootable- and everything went successfully in CMD..

I'm sure there's a way of making the stick show up on the x220
