    Used T61 - what should I pay?

    Used T61 15.4" widescreen. I think it's 1200x800.

    -core 2 duo 1.8
    - 3gb ram
    -120 gb hard drive
    -fingerprint reader
    -cdrw/dvd.

    $630 usd. Should I lowball him?

    I'd try for 500 just on the basis you could probably get a T500 for a little bit more in the Lenovo Outlet and that is a slower C2D.

    I've never used a C2D have you? What is your benchmark for those results? ?

    However, I agree with the price. Any 1.8 ghz processor is to close to slow for any degree of comfort.

    The Canadian outlet is considerably smaller than the American one but you shouldn't pay that much for a used T61 IMHO.
