    Hi guys:

I just got a T60 today, and I guess I have just some Windows XP questions. I'd like to set it up with one administrative user account and another limited account. I've read that using the limited account means that viruses and spyware might have trouble installing themselves on a limited account, so I'd like to mainly use this account on a daily basis.

But...when using the limited account, I can't access my school's webmail account. When I type in the URL, it just brings up a Google search page. Is this jus the nature of limited accounts? It makes it pretty much useless for me. Is there a way to grant access to webmail and other type things to limited accounts?

Also, how can I use the Welcome Screen (to choose between users)? It says that vrlogin.dll (something to do with the fingerprint reader?) disabled those options.

Thanks for the help guys, I really appreciate it.

OK, figured out the Welcome screen thingy. It still would be nice to be able to access my webmail though...

I guess it's a firewall issue. Please ignore this thread now. Sorry for the useless thread.

Just get a good firewall and use FireFox. You won't get much spyware.
