    Hi,

    I finally got my X220T, yahooo! :)

I was hoping that with the Docking station and the external monitor, I can work as with an ordinary computer and at the same time use the Laptop Tablet display to take notes (extended desktop display).

Unfortunately, when I touch the screen with the stylus, it is always projected to the external monitor - no matter what I set as primary display :( This seems just really dumb.

Does anyone have an idea how to prevent this?

It would be more that great working while using Journal to write down the notes.

Yet another topic in which I can assist:

If you have the Wacom driver installed, it has its own tablet configuration utility. The windows 7 one is called Tablet PC Settings, while the Wacom one is called Pen and Tablet Properties. By playing around with the settings there, you should be able to get everything in working order, whether you want the external monitor or X220T as the primary display or not.

Failing that, there is a certain installation/uninstallation order with the drivers (original Wacom / Windows Update provided Wacom, Lenovo Wacom, and Lenovo Multitouch Drivers) that may help. I forgot what order they should be reinstalled, but let's hope it doesn't come to that.

Another useful tip when setting up displays is to use the Fn+F7 hotkey for to quickly make the monitor the primary display and the X220T the extended, secondary display.

    Cool, thank you!

It was in: "Pen Tablet Properties" and then "Monitor" under calibrate. In should be set to the internal monitor.

Previously I did Tablet PC Settings -> Display -> Configure -> Setup

PS: There are many other things which I do not understand (saving the screen settings in docked/non-docked mode, touch input etc.) yet but I'll try and maybe ask when I'm stuck
