    Hi all,

After finding out from fellow posters here on the forum that the T400 is not shipping with a SLC drive, I bought myself a SLC 32gb samsung on ebay (t400 ordered with 64gb mlc on its way). I was thinking about putting both of them in the T400 using the ultrabay. Would like to hear some recommendations on how to best use them together.

I will post some benchmarks on both drives running in the same T400 once I get the machine later in the week.

Found some info on the new Samsung mlc at:

    Thanks.

Well deffinately compare your OS speeds on both of them, I'm very interested in hearing the "feelability" of MLC over SLC, Since the speeds differ so little, and both are faster than traditional HDDs...
Ho much did you pay for the SLC??

Got the SLC on ebay for $230, shipped, that was before the 25% coupon, so it came out to about $179.
