Thinkpad veterans can you please help me on this one?

I have a spare thinkpad 600X power brick adaptor. Can I use that with my
T43? The voltage numbers and such seem close enough. =P I plugged it in and it works.

There are times when I desperately need to recharge my battery and I lend my friend's X Series adaptor.

can someone explain if this is okay?

Yes, yes yes. T series, x series and z series. I swap them around all the time. (as long as the power requirements have reached.) Other than that, IBM's own adapters should work on other models as well.
