    VGA output depends on the monitor your connecting it to. It will output up to whatever the maximum resolution on the monitor is.

    Are you 100% sure ?
    You think the intel graphic card can handle WUXGA+ @ 85hz ?
    just like that ?

    There is a limit of VGA, cannot remember it off hand.

    Only applies to like some of the 24"+ monitors

    Depends on what notebook. Some will go up to QXGA, others will crap out at SXGA+

    Ordered IBM T61 w/Intel graphics.
    I would like the attach it to a 24" screen (WUXGA).

    The x3100 graphics chip supports up to 2048x1536
