    Varying free space on 100GB 7200 RPM HDD

    my T60p has 100gb 7200 rpm hitachi hard drive, yesterday i noticed that free space was 66% and today it is only 55%. In the mean time I have not added any new data on the hard drive. I am wondering if anybody else has also noticed similar thing. Is it because of diskeeper, or any other process going on in the background.

    I am using Vista Business. I just checked the free space says 63% up from 55% without doing anything, strange!
