I have been very disappointed in the driver support from Lenovo in regards to the graphics card on the W500. The only driver update that came out was to support Windows 7. I have specific problems with the OpenGL performance in CAD applications... some programs I must use software rendering! I remember seeing IVS certification!

Well now I learn that the driver we have for the W500 does not support Flash 10.1! Arggg.

Any reason you cannot just use the ATI drivers? I don't own a w500 so I don't know if it'd work, but it might be worth a shot.

Unfortunately, ATI doesn't publish drivers. They direct you to the laptop OEM for any driver update.

ATi definitely started publishing laptop drivers since 10.3. I have installed both 10.3 and 10.4 directly from ATi on my T400. However, I'm not sure if they publish drivers for the Firepro's or not, but I know they do for their mobility radeons.

Don't know about windos drivers, but you probably can check for (and use) the driver for the corresponding desktop GPU.

Otherwise that situation would be really pathetic.
