I just received my laptop from Lenovo direct, when I ordered the laptop it was supposed come with a T7100 processor, when I received it I was disappointed to find it actually had a T2390. When I called Lenovo the man was very nice but spoke in a accent that was almost impossible to hear over my cell phone, he said that, according to his records had come with a T7100 and that I would have to return it for a refund. This after the laptop had already taken a long time to ship due to delays, despite the fact that it was prebuilt, and after all that I never even got a tracking number for it. I'm very disappointed especially because I like Lenovo's laptops so much. I'm posting this as a warning to any other potential laptop buyers, but also I would like to know if there are any other places to get refurbished Lenovo's besides Lenovo Direct.

I have heard spotty experiences with the direct site. People always warn users to keep their records because lenovo might not...and if you get wrong specs you could be screwed. At least they acknowledged the different spec for you and offered a refund. Too bad it wastes your time though :\.

Is there any way Lenovo would just send me out the parts I need and then I can install them (or take it somewhere to get installed) so I don't have to be out a notebook for another month?

Heck...Lenovo's website has errors. It says the Y530 has a LED. There is a few other errors that have been pointed out here by others. It's kinda like "buyer beware".

They also have incorrect ship dates listed... "Ships within 1-2 weeks**"

    Bull****.
