Hello.
I have a question regarding the videocard choices in the T60.
Other than gaming, what are the advantages of the X1400 over the X1300?
Same question about the Onboard.
Are there any extra features I may like?
Any video output features / graphics options?
Is it possible to hookup two monitors next to each other so i can have ALOT of space (not the notebook screen, two external monitors)?
etc..
I will never play a game in my life, and want to know if its worth it to upgrade or not.
Any input is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Harsh Dave
P.S. I was going to order my T60 today but they are closed due to thanksgiving! AAHHH!

If your not playing games or doing any graphic intensive tasks, than the x1300 will be fine. As far as I know, both support the same output ect. The x1400 will consume your battery a bit more as well.

the most graphic intensive task i'll ever do is open a lot of pdf's and photoshops at once. does that call for x1400 or is x1300 just fine?

Unless you have a specific need it is probably not worth it. Photoshop tend to be memory and CPU intensive, not gpu.
-
Photoshop doesn't need a video card to run to begin with. As ZaZ mentioned, Photoshop is CPU/RAM intensive. I don't think that you need a dedicated GPU at all since you don't play games.

Thanks guys!

Are you going with the special 'glitch' customization?

from everything everywhere, this comes out to be the best buy for myself!
