I need a computer for video editing with programs like Avid. If I go with a business graphics card in the T series over the consumer ones in the Ideapads, will it really make that much of a difference cause it's designed for business apps?
Thanks guys?

Only difference between business and consumer models are build quality and support. There's no such thing as designing a computer for "business apps".

If you intend to do professional video editing you need 2 things - a quad-core CPU (720/820/920M) and a decent, discrete GPU (no lower than Nvidia 310M or ATI HD 2600) - to make your system relatively future proof (at least for a couple of years).
I'd recommend the W series if you must stick to Lenovo.
Otherwise there are quite a few other options (AW M15X/ Clevo 860CU, Dell Precision MXXX, etc)
Now 2 more things to consider:
1) Mobility.
Here you will most likely want to go with Lenovo W510 (anti-glare screen, decent portability)
2) Screen type.
If you intend to use the system indoors only and need the best screen possible - look for a system with either FHD LED or RGB LED screens. If you need it for outdoors as well - anti-glare + LED is a must.
Hope this helps and good luck -
The difference is the build quality, if the processor and ram are the same the performance is the same.

personally i don't like the ideapad line of Lenovo, due to the somewhat weak hinge design and it does seem to slightly hot (not as hot as the DV lines of HP). If you want longevity, i would get the T series thinkpads instead.

Are you going to edit your SD home videos or are we talking about professional quality HD video? That makes a big difference in hardware requirements

With the use of certified compatible hardware, gets you support.
Many these usually will be found within the professional workstation lines of laptop/desktops. -
