The quadro FX 570M has 256mb of integrated video memory an it has (insert trademarked, technical sounding, but otherwise useless moniker) which means that it can access and use up to 256mb of your system memory.

    256mb dedicated
    + 256mb shared
    = 512mb total

the performance is not as good as 512mb all dedicated, but that is what you get.

Even so, the card is very decent. If you game a lot, I suggest you to force your drivers to be GeForce. Follow the guide here

Good luck on your purchase. Make sure to check for things like Memory, battery life, internal tampering, etc when you get the laptop.

Works very well. I have that same card (see sig) and it works brilliantly in 32bit and 64bit. Drivers are good. Much better than the current ATi ones, I feel.
