    Does anybody have any favorite virus protection programs for a t61 with Vista Ultimate and a clean install? I was using the preloaded software, but I've lost that with the clean install. Is there anyway to get that back or do people usually just go out and buy something?

    You don't want that back, Nod32 is much better, and very affordable. If you sign up for Newegg's newsletter, there are very often $10 off codes for the 1 year license they offer. You can typically get a year for $20-$30. Kaspersky is another good option, and probably a little easier to use (though Eset has closed that gap with the latest Nod)
