How reliable and compatible is vista 64 now? I just got 4gb and want to know if I should use it on my T61p.

    Thanks

It's wonderful and faster than 32 bit Vista.

It's rock solid for me, works as well as Vista 32-bit.

Driver support from Western Digital is lacking for the My Book drives, but the driver support for the Lenovo notebooks is excellent.

I got it, works well. Only problem I had with it was with 169.25 NVidia drivers, but that was because of the way my 7900GT was factory overclocked. That was fixed with a quick flash.

Vista 64-bit is A LOT better than XP 64-bit. It's fully compatible with the T61p but it may not have support for third-party hardware. My recording audio interface won't work on 64-bit.

Go for it, but just know that some things won't work with 64-bit, let alone Vista.

64-bit team is the way to go.
