    Rant Alert....

Got t61p after the whole 30day wait.. want to install a VPN at my location so the saga begins.

Purchased Netgear Prosafe VPN 25. Installed, worked very slow, reduced my connection speed to 10 percent of original.. NO Vista support WHATSOEVER!!! needs special client..

    Returned

Got Linksys 200 wireless vpn with g.. Cant hold a connection with wireless, Now they have vista client, they admit it doesnt work at all.. Spent three hours with tech support (foreign). NO Resolution.. Seems to me that everything is so freaken cheap now that nothing seems to work anymore, add the fact that support is a total joke since they all work off of scripts. What do you do.. Everything is becomming unsupported cheapo junk. Seriously i expect to pay more then 100 bucks for a router, wireless AP, VPN firewall..

I believe that we are headed for a tech meltdown where everything is delayed, broken and worhless..

FYI NO Straight IPSEC vpn Support for vista
