    Hi,

does anyone here has made a test about battery behavior, on a T61, regarding running the computer with Aero on and off (Vista Basic) ? And if yes, does turning it off give a worthy extra time from the battery ?

yes, turning off aero will give you a slight increase in battery life (at least for me) since my graphics card will downclock to save battery life since it doesn't have to handle aero.

Hey, thanks for the (ultra fast) reply!

What do you mean by "slight increase in battery life" ? I can expect about half an hour more or not ?

    I wouldn't say half an hour...more like 5-10 min.

Hmm...in that case (only 5-10 minutes), i would rather leave it (Aero) on...
I installed SP1 on Friday and as rumors say, they have done some good job there (batery performance). I have to test it and see.
