    For those of you that did a clean installation of vista: Did you installed the "Windows vista update modules" at the end of the driver matrix download site? Are they really necessary if you have vista SP 1 installed? :confused:

    I did a clean install of Vista. The only missing driver was the power manager driver. I never update unless required. It often causes more problems than it cures.

    I didn't install it either. If everything works, why bother? People often confuse the word 'update' for 'this will make your computer run SO much faster!'
