    I got an email 2/11 saying my order was in the validation process and I would receive an update email within 5 bus. days. Still no email, and the status on the moduslink is COA validated with a blank shipping date.

    Anyone else receive this email to?

    You could call them after a week's time, but I would assume they are filling other orders, and that providing a free Vista DVD is not that high on Microsoft's priority list.

    Finally it's been shipped although I don't think I will install it.

    Note: prior to shipping my status changed to "order sent to back office," and "order approved."

    Just received the upgrade in the mail today. Comes in a bubble wrap envelope with a piece of styrofoam inside for protection.

    The from address comes from Morrisville, NC which is not too far from where I live which is probably why it only took 3 business days.

    The upgraded DVD has lenovo printed on it -- I thought it would be generic. Must have taken them 4 weeks just to manufacture that ;)

    I submitted the order 2/1 and received it 3/19 = 46 days total.

    I'll quit rambling, but I'm glad I got it free since my t60 was purchased NIB from ebay :)
