I replaced the hard drive (was a 160 gig 5400 rpm) with a Hitachi 200 gig 7200 rpm and did a clean install of Vista Ultimate to remedy some issues with the T61. (Don't go there... )
Anyhow, everything worked pretty well. No issues with the hard drive at all and it is definitely much snappier. However, the only Thinkvantage utility that I've encountered a problem with is the Ultranav Utility which controls the touchpad. Currently, the scroll button does not work. It was the last one to be installed and it doesn't work.
I've tried removing and re-installing, even did a manual download and install instead of using the System Update. It seems to know that it needs to install it because every time I run System Update, it downloads the same two (one is a Vista update) and tried to install them. After a reboot, still no ultranav utility when I try to select it. It says it's not installed.
Any ideas before I remove all the Thinkvantage utilities and start over with those?

I believe there is a driver in addition to the utility. Both are required for full function. Congratulations on a good install!

I have listed all of the necessary drivers and utilities here:

As well as links to find them. -
Yep. I think you need both UNAV and UNAVUTIL drivers (from original SWTOOLS/DRIVERS directory) for scroll functionality. You can download both of these online from here (under Mouse/Trackpoint). Good luck!
