Hi...I ordered my T60 ONE DAY AFTER the Free Vista upgrade was offered and I am thinking of purchasing it to install now. A friend of mine just upgraded his Sony C series with no problems and I was wondering how smooth the upgrade on the T60 is going. According to the Vista Upgrade Advisor the TrackPoint and Symantec CS 3 had problems...what was involved in the upgrade and what problems is everyone experiencing. Thank you for your time. Cory

I have the exact same model also with xp. I bought Vista Business used it perfectly for a while but didn't really like it. I'm now back on XP. All you need is to visit Lenovo's website and dowload the drivers' downloader (forgot it's name). It downloads everything for you, then on resue and recovery 4 you can back up your machine. This way when you decide to restore, you have the option of vista and xp*.

*: when you go back to xp you would need to do the upgrade all over again.

it true that once you used vista upgrade program and you gave them your XPP key, you won't be able to switch back after you install vista on your machine?
I have read this somewhere in this forum.
