    Hi Everybody,

I have purchased Lenovo L3000 Y410. I am happy with everything. But when I use my headphone for messenger, my voice is very low on the other end. I have tried to tune using the sound settings. But I am not successful.

Can anyone help me out ???

    Suthar

Have you went to sound settings.. go to recording tab, click on the specific microphone you are using (maybe you need drivers).. click properties.. click on 'Levels' tab.. raise level to 100..

If you have tried that, that is the only way I know how to raise microphone volume. Otherwise make sure there isn't any volume controls on the headset itself, or try calling the manufacturer of the microphone. I'd say at most this is a microphone specific problem, maybe a vista problem, I doubt it is a problem with your Lenovo.

start - (settings) - control panel - voice tab - voice recording area - volume button - find microphone - hit advanced button - check microphone boost.

Yours may be slightly different but there is usually some check box that says "Mic boost" in one of the advanced property sheets. Sometimes it's buried in there. HTH
