Can anyone point me to the Lenovo download that enables the OSD for WinXP Pro? I've got a T40(2373-RU1) and I just did a fresh install of XP. I don't have ANY OSD's(volume or brightness)...

    Thanks!

If you search you will find many threads that discuss this. Seems there has never been a firm solution. The best I can offer is to make sure you have the latest Hotkey driver and Lenovo System Interface driver installed. If you do then uninstall them, REBOOT, Re-install and REBOOT again. If that doesn't work then it must be something that a future driver update might fix.

Here you can find the latest ThinkPad Hotkey features package. it includes the Fn keys driver and OSD feature.

    ThinkPad Hotkey features

I suggest you use the installer that comes with this package to uninstall any installed version of the hotkey features and reinstall after you reboot.
