    Hi guys,

After downgrading the T61 from Vista Business to XP, another wierd side effect I'm noticing is the volume control.

The volume went from 0-50 in Windows Vista when using the volume buttons above the keyboard. It was almost too incremental, but it worked well (aside from the stuttering glitches, which were unacceptable; going back to XP fixes this).

In Windows XP, the volume goes in increments from 0-25. The most noticeable issue with this is when using headphones: Going from 0-1 is a big enough jump to make things almost too loud. In Vista, I generally had the volume at about 7 with the headphones on.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there an updated driver or software utility that helps? Thanks in advance.
