I replaced my HD on my W500 recently with a larger one and while doing so, I imaged the original HD that came with the W500 as well as did a 1:1 image over to the new drive. Today I try using the ThinkVantage restore function and it doesn't see any restoration images available on the hard drive anymore? Anyone have any ideas what might've happened to the restore image which should also be transferred over when I imaged the entire hard drive?

I'm just looking to restore the system to stock like when I received it.

Just do a clean install and download any missing drivers/software from Lenovo's website, why do you want all that extra bloatware that came with it?

I'm actually ok with some of the Lenovo stuff that comes preloaded, though I would disable some of the stuff. I'm satisfied with just leaving them there.
