For my W500 (1920x1200) it's a Samsung and the part number is LTN154U2-L05. I'm really curious to know if the LG is a lot better at least brighter. The whites on w500 are kind of grey. The Samsung screen on the W500 has good resolution but it's pretty dim. Are you having the same problem with yours. That it's pretty dim?

    By the way

    Frankly speaking
    I haven't used a WUXGA or WXSGA+ before
So I would say it's excellent
I just think for a 15' laptop, WSXGA+ could be enough
    it's great :D
