Hey everyone,
I have a friend who has a W500 with the WUXGA screen and he recently had some people screwing around with it. They were pushing on the screen with their fingers and now there seem to be pressure points or a small pushed in area/distorted part right where they kept putting their fingers.
Does anyone know if this comes under any type of warranty repair? He currently has the Thinkplus Warranty + EZ Serve and Thinkpad protection service for 3 years.
Sorry for the bad image quality, but here's a pic:

It looks like his Thinkpad protection plan might cover it.

WhatÂ’s covered?
* Damage from drops and falls under normal use
* Damage from electrical surges
* Liquid spills
* LCD damage
Next time I recommend a swift kick below the belt for anyone intentionally trying to damage another person's notebook... even worse if its a ThinkPad -
i got a pressure point problem fixed free for my R61.

Awesome, thanks guys! Totally agree with the below-the-bet-kick. It should come included with rescue & recovery.
Thanks again.
