My W500 sometimes powers off completely or goes to sleep mode when under heavy use. Typically I have some conversion program & virtual machine running when this happens. I have 8GB in this system and a SSD so I don't believe I'm taxing it too much in terms of memory or disk access. Could it be the system temp is causing this? Any way to check or change settings to control this? thx

download tpfancontrol and check your system temps, and also download Prime95 and run it to make sure that the shutdowns are not temperature related.
