The Lenovo outlet seems to have some good deals and some deals that look like three card monte. (Like the x200 prices vs the new x201 prices on the regular Lenovo site.) I'm less familiar with the W series (as I've mentioned before) and wondering what opinions are on the value of the W500's selling for around $1250 in the outlet. How do these compare with the newer i5's for the usual processor-intensive apps, Photoshop, video editing, etc.

    Tx.

Much will depend on the specs of course. Unless you need the GL card I think you can do better on the T500 unless you want/need WUXGA. The T and W are going to be very similar except for the card and the LCD if you opt for the UXGA.
