I have bought a w510 920xm with 2HD 320 in raid. I have make the raid 0 configuration. I thought that the performances increased, but it doesn't seem me. According to you I have made well the raid?

honestly, you'd be better off with a single SSD than two HDDs in RAID 0. not only would it be more reliable but it would be more responsive, too.
in my ThinkStation i had two 15,000 RPM SAS drives in RAID 0. a single Intel 160GB G2 SSD outperformed them (which is what i now use). there's no way you'll get anywhere close to that performance with two notebook HDDs -- even in RAID 0. -
What kind of performance boost were you looking for? As erik stated, a single SSD for O/S and programs plus a HDD for storage will be a much better solution than RAID0 w/ 2x HDD.
-
Who said anything about SSD? The original poster has a couple of 320GB drives in the system and a RAID 0 volume should certainly provide more I/O throughput than a single disk.

Random speeds in a HDD are in fractions, even doubling that isn't significant. Sequential speeds are rarely useful for majority of users since most people don't continually transfer large files around.

Oh wait, I'm not most people. -
these are the performances:-(

I should replace the hd with 2 ssd (128+128) but is very expensive

For most people I would recommend a SSD for the OS/applications and a (big) HDD for media files and storage.
As an example, in my T500 I am using a 160GB Intel SSD as my main drive and a 500GB Hitachi HDD for storage and media files. The system is extremely fast while at the same time having plenty of storage space.
Edit: Since you seem interested in WEI, attached you will find my WEI score for my T500. Note that with a single SSD the score is 7.7Attached Files:

I Love thinkpad, i have always the powerfull laptop (15,4"). Only passion.
I have had x300 and x301 with ssd64gb. good perfomance.
today the true problem of the laptops they are the disks, also the ssd are limited. -
can I Put in raid 2 disks: 1 ssd (128Gb) and 1 (320gb 7200rpm)?
-
Why are you so insistent on RAID? Just have 1 SSD and 1 HDD, no RAID, nothing complicated...
-
Here's the WEI from the T410 I am using at the moment. And you're right, although I would like RAID, I am prefectly happy with a fast SSD in the primary bay for OS, Apps and personal data. I use the Ultrabay or external drive for mass storage.

I have changed hd with 64 ssd. This is my WEI
very top and very fastAttached Files:

"The latter is the key driver in perceived performance."
The latency is in milliseconds. The user cannot tell the difference.

Halobox, may I ask what SSD you put in your T410? I'm going to be ordering my T410 with the base HD and upgrading to an SSD (128-160GB hopefully) and then storing music on an external drive. Just curious what you put in yours to bring up the WEI =)
-
Any SSD will be much faster than a HDD. WEI is a foolish benchmark to base things off of, so get a SSD that suits your needs. You need to specify what's most important to you: cost, battery life, transferring large files, etc.
