I recently purchased a W510, love the performance!

but it seems that it randomly locks up on me. in some instances i do get an error that the "Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered."

At first i thought it was overheating on me but then in hung on me when the CPU temp was only 45 degrees!

Usually the screen freezes and i am unable to move the mouse or use the keyboard ... only the wireless light stays on and there is no HD activity (as far as i can tell that is)

the only change to the system that i have made is that i swapped out the 4gb that came with it for 16 Gb

i thought that had something to do with it but i put the original 4 gb back and it does the same thing.

Is anyone else having these issues?

T510 here, had this issue a few times. Either recovered, or BlueScreen. Probably some driver issues and hope they can fix it soon.

    First, monitor the GPU temps.
Second, change the video drivers (try the latest beta as well) and see if it helps.

try the 10.3 beta (it doesn't need a mobility modder).

So far so good it looks like the firmware update works but i will not consider this fixed untill i have a day or two of no crashes :)
