So as an owner of a T61P looking for an upgrade (especially in the battery life department) I was really excited for the release of the W510 and have since started eying the T510, even though neither support switchable graphics.
Anyway, I've held off on purchasing thanks to the ridiculous "here and now gone" appearance of the W510 on their website and the loss of the familyandfriends discount (anyone have any hints on similarly good discounts in the US?).
Not only that, but their academic sites have been horrendous, at least for my school and our rep recently quit and has yet to be replaced (in short I can't get any quotes for myself nor for my research group for any Lenovo purchases)... It's almost like they don't want me to give them money. Their webiste only shows R and X-series laptops and all are a generation or more old.
I finally found the new ones (I used the search function as the links on the site are useless) and found these incredible deals on W510 CTOs. I figured I would share:

That's weird,
Here are the prices from the academic site through my university.
Looks like I can even order the T410s, even though it's not available on through the normal Lenovo site.
P.S. Mind you, these prices include 3 year depot warranty.Attached Files:
