I recently just got a W520 and everthing works great until recently where my trackpoint/trackpad goes crazy and jumps all over the place and clicking with the slightest touch. I have tried not using two-finger-scroll and uninstalling/re-installing the ultranav software to no avail.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

Try disabling the TrackPoint or touchpad. Does the issue go away?

I have tried that but the problem comes back. I'm not sure if its a hardware or software issue. USB mouses work just fine. I have a feeling that some connection is not right.

Which helps? Disabling the touchpad or TrackPoint?

i originally tried disabling just the trackpad but now I am trying with just disabling the trackpoint.

I'm going to call in a warranty repair to see what happens. I just did a complete restore and the problem has persisted so I am think it is more hardware related than software

That's what I'm thinking too. Trying to isolate whether it's the TrackPoint or the touchpad.

The problem occurs when I just disable the trackpoint as well. I guess I will just have to carry a usb mouse with me at all times until I get it fixed then :/

    Thanks for your input though!
