Does the slice work with the standard battery or as a replacement for the standard battery? For instance can I use dual 9 cell batteries on the w520? If so I think my mind is made up on the workstation Im aiming for.

Nevermind I finally got a good google hit.

Second question is what kind of battery life are yall getting with both batteries + 2000m + quad core?

While running, Power Manager itself will decrease battery life by 30-60 minutes. With wifi-off, I've seen it read 11 hours while reading PDFs.

I only have a single 9-cell, though, so double those numbers for the slice.

So 7+ hours with both batteries? That isnt bad for the hardware in the w520. I dont have big battery needs now but I need at least 6-7 here and there, but could settle for 5+.
