Hey everyone :). Thinking about buying a W520 for college (engineering major). I configured one with the base quad-core, FHD, 2000M, 1DIMM 4GB RAM, 320GB HDD, and Intel 6300. Price from the website comes to $1,969. I know about the shareholders discount; I need to see if I have any in my mutual (if not, I could buy a single stock for ~$110 iirc, correct me if I'm wrong). How are the student discounts at Lenovo, and are there any great coupons out there for May (like...~10%)? Also, are all these discounts stackable, or are there limitations to the student/shareholders, etc? On top of that, how has your haggling experience been, if you have done that over the phone?

I got ~$350(No joke!) off of my x220 by haggling with sales rep on the chat. I couldn't keep any of my coupons when haggling, so keep that in mind.

See if this coupon works: ECOUPONS10

I know about waiting. I get my college savings when I turn 18 on the 20th, so that's about the time I'll actually buy a new laptop.
