    Whats are the must have(s) for the W520?

    Will be using it for: photoshop, some graphic designing, decent multimedia.

    Everyone's going to answer that differently. If you want a good screen and can stomach the resolution, the FHD might be a good option.

    I installed a Lenovo SATA II SSD.

    I haven't seen a SATA III SSD offering as of yet.

    A second power supply may come in handy.

    Get the FHD screen it's amazing (and I love the resolution). I would also recommend buying an 80gb msata ($190) and upgrading RAM on your own.
