Hello,
I've received my new W520 yesterday. But unfortunately I've a problem with using the color calibration (have the built-in color sensor):
(1) W520 has factory default settings (no updates from Microsoft or Lenovo). (I did a rollback after discovering the problems listed below)
(2) I calibrate the display using the integrated color sensor and the PANTONE software
(3) The calibration works fine.
(4) When I press Ctrl+Alt+Del the calibration has gone (or whenever this dialog with "you need administrator rights" pops up)
(5) The only way to bring the calibration back: go to NVIDIA Settings > Display > Adjust desktop color settings, then I click on "use nvidia settings." and afterwards back to "other applications control color settings" (which was also the initial configuration).
(6) I discovered the same problems using my external color sensor + other calibration software.
For me it seems that anything overwrites the settings in the LUT. By the way: When I do a restart, I can see about 5 seconds the calibrated colors (at first no calibrated colors, then calibrated colors and then again no calibrated colors). Then I have to manually call this CalibrationLoader from the Startup menu.
This guy seems to have a similar problem: my gamma automatically changes coming out of stand... - Lenovo Community
I hope somebody could help me...

Are you using a standard user account or is it an administrator for the W520?

I'm using an administrator account.

A guy in the lenovo forum gave me the right hint: Remove the program igfxpers.exe from autoruns.
