Is there a wlan card that will work with verizon 4g lte for the W530? I'm tired of messing with dongles and hot spots

@turbochris sadly the machine is whitelisted to single outdated 3G modem, and there doesn't seem to be a modded BIOS available (and flashing it would require a programmer anyway). Try different modem with pin 20 taped (buy something below $10 if you don't have one lying around), if it works chances are you'll be able to make a compatible LTE modem work, too.

Maybe it's time to go beg someone over at biosmods.com. As for flashing it, I could tap in with I2C like I used to when I had to recover bios passwords or unsolder the bios chip and stick it in a programmer. That's my only complaint about this notebook, other than that I love it. I bought a refurb for my wife a few months ago.
