    Hi,

I'm happy with nearly everything about my w530, but I notice that the left button for trackpoint is considerably louder than my other mouse buttons, and indeed louder than any other button on my computer.

Have other people noticed this, is this common, or should I be looking at asking for a new keyboard under my on-site warranty?

    All the best,

    Scott

I generally haven't noticed any Thinkpad mouse buttons (aside from some clickpad buttons) being loud or clacky at all. I'd first try unscrewing the keyboard and reseating it, and if that doesn't fix the issue, give Lenovo Support a call.

Thanks MidnightSun. I had a Lenovo tech out to have a look at another issue and it appears to be part of the design of the keyboard. At least for the moment it's something I'm willing to live with in order to get such a great keyboard. :)
