This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Finally, 6 months after it was announced to the public, Lenovo released the w540 for sale. Unlike the Dell workstations, it's good to see it's still customize-able. Lenovo is offering only 8gb or 16gb in 4gb dimms, which they say is due to a parts shortage of 8gb dimms. They also don't have a docking station available yet, according to the rep. I was hoping to see the w530 price drop, but nope, not by a nickle even. It's good to see this come to market though.
