so i recently was able to get my hands on a thinkpad w540 for 250$ and i was looking for some recommendations on upgrades.
the laptop i picked up has in a 1080p model with an i7 4800mq and a k2100m. i have already bought a new ssd for it and a new 9 cell battery.
I was wondering if it was possible to upgrade the display on this model and add a camera. from what i can tell i cant up the display past 1080p because of the 30pin connector but i was wondering if you guys had any ideas on that topic.
next thing i had a question about was bios upgrade. a friend of mine recommended me here to look for a vbios upgrade from somebody name Prema but i cant seem to contact them to ask for a bios because i am too new and i cant seem to navigate their site.
lastly i was wondering if anybody had ideas about using the thunderbolt port on this laptop for a thunderbolt egpu enclosure
