This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Not sure if its the dual channel effect but 2+2 identical (Crucial Micron) rather than 1+2 non identical (Hynix from Lenovo + Crucial) Micron) makes one heck of a difference on W764. W7 is no longer a disappointment. Have to check out Vista. Maybe didn't need W7 after all. lol.
