    W700 Cpu Hsf

    well,

    hardware maintenance manual may resolve this,
    but since it isn't available (yet), i'm asking if
    heatsink and fan for model with quad core cpu
    (44 W) is different then one for model with
    eg. T9500 (35 W) or P9500 (25 W) dual core
    cpu??

    also want to ask if models with differently
    rated cpu have different power supply??

    I don't think anyone knows about this yet....not even HP or Lenovo know yet probably.

    I doubt the AC is different, but the main HSF is usually determined by the configured GPU. The thermal design is slightly different on each graphic variation.

    w700 have only 170 w ac adapter listed, 8730w have two options:
    120 w or 150 w ac adapter..

    Last time I checked, not yet. I believe everybody's (HP, Lenovo, Dell, etc) are waiting for Intel to officially announce it next week.
