    W701 vs W701ds?

    The W701ds adds the secondary display and about $500 in price.

    Are there any other differences from the W701?

    Specifically, what about the lid? Since the W701 doesn't need to hold any secondary display in its lid, is the lid thinner than the W701ds? (I've seen the W700ds lid; it's pretty thick.)

    Yeah it's thicker by a couple mm. Also it's heavier and gets lower battery life (if you use the second screen). Other than that it's supposed to be the same.
