This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Will 4GB instead of 3 make a difference? Seems sluggish but could be Internet bandwith.

    Also which other patches to isntall other than XP Updates and Antivirus and Firewall?

    MSFT did a good job with this. But the novelty should wear off. lol. Using it for just one program where I'm too cheap to buy and upgrade.


    Seperate issue, does anyone use Bit Locker? Still looking for tips. Heard from one person on other thread but all the guy wanted to do was brag about his hardware.

    I'm using this on a T61.
